Demo Day 2022 – showcases the best of the second year of Challenger Urban: Creative. Don´t miss is out!
Demo Day is the final event of the Challenger Urban:Creative acceleration program. It will feature 12 teams that have developed innovative products or services over several months with the potential to contribute to the development of the city of Košice.
Based on criteria such as innovation, impact on citizens’ quality of life, feasibility and progress in the program, best start-ups will receive the Acceleration Progress Award of EUR 10,000 with a possibility to pilot with the city, and People’s Choice Award.

Keynote
Michaela Kršková is the first Chief Innovation Officer of the Slovak government, leading a policy unit at the Government Office implementing reforms and investments aiming to transform the Slovak research, development and innovation ecosystem. Prior to joining the civil service, Michaela worked in technology transfer at Oxford University Innovation, was an innovation consultant at Civitta and co-founded Neulogy Ventures, the largest venture capital management company in Slovakia, where as an investment manager, she worked with numerous Slovak startups. Michaela was also a co-founder of FTRNW (formerly Startup Awards), a startup competition that played an important role in the development of the Slovak ecosystem.
She graduated from Princeton University and the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva.
