Demo Day is the final event of the Challenger Urban:Creative accelerator program. It will present 8 teams that have been developing innovative products or services with the potential to contribute to the development of the city of Košice over the past few months.

Based on criteria such as innovation, impact on the quality of life of citizens, feasibility, and progress in the program, the best startup will receive the title Acceleration Progress Award and a financial reward of 10,000 EUR.

  • Mária Virčíková, CEO and Co-founder of Matsuko

The audience will also choose their favorite who will be rewarded with a service package from program partners.

Keynote speaker

Milota Sidorová, Urban Planner and Director of the Office of Participatory Planning at MIB (Metropolitan Institute of Bratislava). As a landscape architect, facilitator, planner, and analyst, Milota connects and methodically seeks the intersections of common interests between diverse actors to create fairer, more transparent, and less conflicting cities. She will address the topic of citizen participation in improving the quality of life in the city.
