Čierne diery: discussion with the creators
We invite you to a discussion with members of the association Čierne diery Martin Lipták and Michal Tornyai. They will be joined by graphic designer Katarína Rybnická, whose riso graphy for Čierne diery will be the subject of a new documentary film about the spa in Sobrance.
The artist and theorist Samuel Velebný will lead the discussion.
✽Since 2014 Čierne diery have been devoting themselves to architecture that was overlooked for very long, from hundred-years-old factories and dilapidated spas up to icons of modern architecture. Their photographs and stories have been discovered by tens of thousands of readers and have become the motivation for visiting or reviving monuments in different corners of Slovakia. From 2021 the Čierne diery database will be integrated into the uniform portal of 20th century architecture in Slovakia by Slovak Academy of Sciences.
